GSM Project Hub
Personal desktop application

Email evidence, organized for review.

GSM Project Hub helps its operator organize project emails, permit photographs, contractor daily reports and delivery evidence on a Windows PC.

This site provides information about the application and its handling of Google account data. The working project hub runs locally with separate access controls.

How the app works

  1. The operator authorizes read-only access to a nominated Gmail account using Google OAuth.
  2. A background worker imports emails matching the operator's configured project search, preserving original messages and attachments.
  3. Local document processing and a model running in LM Studio prepare suggested fields and source quotes.
  4. The operator checks the original evidence before approving an update to the local project registers.

Machine-generated suggestions are unverified. They do not approve permits, confirm physical delivery, authorize work or replace the operator's review.

Google access

The application requests the Gmail read-only permission https://www.googleapis.com/auth/gmail.readonly. This permits reading mailbox messages and settings. The app uses it to read matching email and download evidence; it does not send mail, modify messages, change labels or delete Gmail content.

The Gmail search is a software filter, not a restriction on the account-wide permission Google grants. The operator can revoke access through their Google Account.
